KI&KI · 輝&輝

Japan's Premier Tsugaru Shamisen Duo

Ki&Ki is a Tsugaru Shamisen female duo by Hikari Shirafuji and Kanami Takeda. Both have taken 1st place at Tsugaru Shamisen competitions across Japan, and have performed on stages globally.

As Kanami and Hikari originally are from different schools of shamisen training, each carries their own unique character and playing style — which has helped build their name since their debut.

The name KI (輝) means "sparkle" — from their wish to create a sense of shine through their uniquely different backgrounds and playing styles.
